My will has vanished in the wood of insecurity
I have lost my hope in the labyrinth of doubts
I have thrown my ambitions into the fire of indecision

Dejected, petrified, stranded inside
My optimism has never been so weak, my smile has never felt so tight

I won’t reacquire the time I’ve been wasting with regrets
Despite a thousand reasons to back down
I’ll find 1001 to keep holding my ground
I will exhume my abandoned grit
I once buried in the swamp of fears
Where now abulics lie
When standing still means stepping towards the rear
though the road is steep and narrow the only choice is to persevere
There is another fact I have to take into account
I have to face more stumbles, falls and knock-outs
But the wisest thing that I can still decide
Is indeed to get up and fight
